Credit Card Payments, Chargebacks, and Dispute Resolution
Clear Disclosure and Consent
Disclosure at Time of Purchase
By completing a purchase, the student confirms they have reviewed and accepted:
- Course description and delivery format (e.g. online / virtual / instructor-led)
- Pricing and 100% upfront payment requirement
- Refund and cancellation terms
- Intellectual Property and usage restrictions
These Terms are made available prior to payment and require affirmative acceptance at checkout.
Payment Authorization and Proof of Purchase
Authorization
By submitting payment information, the student authorizes FPGA Authority Inc. to charge the full course fee to the selected credit card.
Transaction Records
We retain transaction records, receipts, timestamps, IP addresses, and course access logs in accordance with card-network requirements to verify legitimate purchases and service delivery.
Refund Policy (Chargeback-Aligned)
Provider-Cancelled Courses
If FPGA Authority Inc. cancels a course, the student will receive a 100% refund, issued to the original payment method.
Student Withdrawal
If a student voluntarily withdraws from a course:
- A 90% refund will be issued
- 10% is non-refundable and covers administrative and payment processing costs
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed promptly and within card-network-recommended timeframes. Refund timing may vary depending on the issuing bank.
No Service Not Rendered Claims
Digital and Training Services
Students acknowledge that access to course materials, lab environments, credentials, or scheduled instruction constitutes delivery of services.
Access Issuance
Once access credentials, materials, or instructional services are made available, the transaction is considered fulfilled subject to the stated refund policy.
Dispute Resolution Before Chargebacks
Required First Contact
Before filing a chargeback, students agree to contact FPGA Authority Inc. directly to attempt resolution via:
- Billing clarification
- Refund request
- Course access issues
We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
Improper Chargebacks
Chargebacks initiated in violation of these Terms (including disputes over disclosed refund policies or delivered services) may be considered invalid disputes under Visa® and Mastercard® rules.
Evidence for Chargeback Defense
In the event of a chargeback, the following may be submitted as evidence to the issuing bank:
- Accepted Terms & Conditions
- Proof of payment authorization
- Course access logs and timestamps
- Attendance or participation records (if applicable)
- Refund policy disclosures
- Communication records with the student
Non-Refundable Fees Disclosure
The 10% non-refundable administrative fee is clearly disclosed prior to purchase and reflects:
- Credit card processing fees
- Administrative handling
- Reservation of course capacity
This fee complies with Visa® and Mastercard® transparency requirements.
Fraud and Unauthorized Use
Authorized Card Use
Students affirm they are authorized cardholders or have permission from the authorized cardholder to complete the transaction.
Fraudulent Transactions
Any fraudulent payment activity may result in immediate course access termination and cooperation with card issuers and law enforcement.
Communication and Billing Descriptor
Billing Descriptor
Charges will appear on credit card statements using a recognizable billing descriptor identifying FPGA Authority Inc., allowing students to easily identify the transaction.

Clear contact details are provided on the website and receipt to reduce confusion and prevent unnecessary disputes.
Survival of Terms
These chargeback and payment-related provisions survive course completion, withdrawal, refunds, and termination of access.
